Simple File-Naming System
Use a consistent name such as 2026-09-13_Employer_JobTitle_Resume.pdf. This prevents confusion when employers call several weeks later and helps you quickly review the exact application.
When Should You Follow Up?
If the posting gives a timeline or says not to contact the employer, follow those instructions. Otherwise, one polite follow-up after a reasonable waiting period may be appropriate. Avoid sending repeated messages.
